FINAL ANCILLARY TASK ONE Front and Back cover These are the final outcomes for our digipak. The front cover shows a photograph of the two girls standing on a bridge that was a key scene of our music video. We have decided to keep the front cover quite simple and as our chosen song 'I'll try anything Once' is actually a demo on a b-side, we have chosen to create the digipak as if it were part of an album. We thought about  giving the cover a more interesting feature by adding a transparent border around the edges which would have appear throughout the ancillary tasks, but we decided that it would overpower the imagery so we kept it very simple instead.  The back cover is a photograph of the trees within the image of the two girls. We then added another image showing the river that is flowing below them to overlay, creating a light textured colour, reflecting an accurate tone for our music video. FEEDBACK ON OUR ROUGH CUT To get some feedback on our rough cut, I showed the rough cut of our music video to lots of people - friends, family, peers - to see what their opinions were on it and whether they had any advice on what we could do to change it/make it better.  As a class, we watched through it around three times so people could pick up the pros and cons of what they thought, because when an individual sees it only once, they may miss things (e.g. a specific shot etc.). Then, we received verbal feedback from them on what we did well and what they liked but also to see if there were any noticeable things, however big or small, which we could make better.  Next,  I showed a range of people to get a range of different age groups to see whether it changed between younger and older generations, but mostly so we could identify our target audience's improvements. ROUGH CUT  HERE IS OUR MUSIC VIDEO ROUGH CUT FOR THE STROKES - 'I'LL TRY ANYTHING ONCE':  HERE . For our first attempt at shooting a rough cut of a music video, we’re are all very proud of it. We were excited to see how it would turn out, especially when it came to editing and the exact order of the scenes that we had filmed. Looking back at our storyboards we are also thrilled that we have set out to complete our idea, and we have, to a certain extent, done that. We are currently looking and researching into the importance of the titles, particularly in relevance to our ancillary tasks to add to make our final cut. POST FILMING VIDEO DIARY POST FILMING DIARY ALL This is our Post-Filming Diary. So, before going into each shoot, we had a clear understanding through planning, mind maps and general organisation of what we were going to do. We played to our strengths of what each of us were going to organise, meaning we all had responsibilities, so we could get the best possible outcome. We also planned our shoots according to the weather, dates and times and each other’s lives. We took it into consideration that we all have to fit in around each other. To begin with, we also thought the most efficient way to get all the filming done to our highest standard possible was to have three shoots; 1. daylight outside shots 2. daylight inside shots and 3. night time shots. For this to happen we had to plan ahead, looking at the weather, outfits, and props before so that each day went smoothly. EXTRA AUDIENCE RESEARCH When thinking about our idea, we have decided that to re-inforce our plan by interviewing 4 women about their relationships with their sisters and how they think it has changed, may change and how its portrayed in the media. Doing this has proved that a music video (a whole three to four minutes of it) JUST showing a relationship between two sisters and nothing else should hold it's own because it is interesting enough/our audience will be interested/people can relate to it and a sisters relationship is important enough to depict in a music video for it to stand on its own. FINAL SONG CHOICE What artist are we using and which song? We are using the song 'I'll try anything once" - The Strokes. We think the song will go really well with our concept because even though our idea has a happy feeling, the sombre tone of the song will almost juxtapose the video.
