OUR PRACTICE TASK FINAL CUT After some consideration, we decided to change our original ideas slightly and join up with another group to create a full music video that fits our idea but uses our own shots rather than just simply copy the Lumineers video. We joined with Megan, Noah and emily to create a video with two friends on a day out which still has our initial concept of wanting to capture the relationship between two people. We decided to do out outside of school time as it meant we could use more locations and focus more thoroughly. By doing this we were able to enhance our skills more by creating a longer video, like our actual coursework would end up being.

WHAT'S IN THE NEWS? To practice and get in the swing of creating storyboards with new ideas about music videos, or short films, I decided to pick a random news story from this week and from that, pull together a music video or short film that is inspired by the news story. As we are thinking about creating music videos for our coursework, I hoped to storyboard a music video to practice how the video is put together with the music chosen.  Our chosen News Story: This news story is about an orchestra conducted by Darth Vader. Initially, Vader seemed content listening to the classic compostiton. However, several bars into the piece, he removed the conductor and took charge of the orchestra.
